  • NY Politics: From Spitzer to Cuomo to James—How Many Scandals Is Too Many?

First, Eliot Spitzer fought prostitution as NY AG—then got caught in the middle of it as Governor.
Then Cuomo was taken down by his own party in a blaze of scandals.
And now? He’s being floated for a comeback like nothing happened—because the Democrats have no one BETTR to run.

Meanwhile, current AG Letitia James targeted Trump’s business records while allegedly hiding flaws in her own.
Is anyone in Albany playing by the rules they enforce?

New Yorkers—aren’t you tired of the hypocrisy?
Tired of being embarrassed on the national stage by both sides?
Tired of recycled, corrupt names climbing back into power?

    It’s time for something different.

  • Prison Closures Leave Thousands Homeless—But Not the Inmates

As New York and California shut down dozens of prisons citing budget cuts and reform, a troubling trend is emerging: the buildings sit empty while local homelessness skyrockets.

Instead of repurposing these facilities into housing, rehab centers, or job training sites, state governments are leaving them to rot—costing taxpayers millions in maintenance and security. Meanwhile, veterans, addicts, and the mentally ill sleep on sidewalks steps away from vacant, state-owned buildings with working bathrooms, kitchens, and beds.

Advocates are calling for immediate action to convert these “ghost prisons” into transitional housing. But bureaucracy, NIMBY politics, and a lack of vision are standing in the way.

How long can we ignore this?
