  • The Next 100 Days: A Path to a Successful 200
By Jason S. Arnold – Candidate for Governor, New York (JSA2026)
    April 30, 2025 | (516) 586-0660 | jaysarnold@icloud.com | www.JSA2026.com

Let’s talk about the next 100 days.
    Not for me—but for them.
For the administration in Washington that still has a window—however narrow—to course correct.

Whether you voted for this President or not, we are all passengers on the same ship. And right now, the waters are rough.

    But it’s not too late.

If the current administration wants to end its first 200 days of 2025 with any claim to success, it must use the next 100 days to deliver results—not reactions.

What the White House Needs to Do—Starting Now
    1. Get Ahead of Inflation with Bold Energy Moves
Gas and utility prices are still crushing working Americans.
Open domestic energy projects and unleash innovation-focused subsidies for small-scale nuclear, hydrogen, and geothermal. Don’t just talk green—go clean and cheap.

    2. Enforce the Border Without the Political Theater
End the crisis at the border. Secure it with a balanced mix of enforcement and humane reform.
Americans want borders without cruelty—and compassion without chaos. The administration must make real, bipartisan progress now or face voter backlash later.

    3. Show Up for Small Business
Amazon doesn’t need help. Main Street does.
The next 100 days should focus on slashing red tape, offering microgrants, and lowering federal business tax rates on operations under $5 million in annual revenue.

This is how you revive downtowns—not with DEI contracts, but with clear capital and clean code.

    4. End the Silence on Crime and Urban Decay
    Blue cities are bleeding.
The President must acknowledge the problem and fund federal-local crime partnerships that allow police to restore public order while community groups rebuild trust.
Avoiding the topic isn't compassion—it’s cowardice.

    5. Announce a National Mental Health Surge Plan
We are in a quiet crisis. From veterans to teenagers, from urban homelessness to rural suicide—this country is mentally unwell.
The federal government should launch a full-scale national mental health surge, including grants for mobile crisis units, AI-assisted triage lines, and school-based counseling services.

Make it bipartisan. Make it urgent.

Final Word: The 200-Day Mark Is a Legacy Test
A hundred days ago, this administration was handed a chance to restart.
The next 100 days are where legacy is defined.

The polls are unstable. The public is frustrated.
But momentum can be built—if real leadership replaces slogans, and deliverables replace distractions.

We don’t need a “campaign pivot.”
    We need a competence pivot.

    Why This Matters to You
Because if they don’t step up, we will.
States like New York must be prepared to lead where Washington fails. That’s why my platform—JSA2026—is based on real outcomes, not recycled rhetoric.

We’re ready to move from protest to policy.
To be the example, not the echo.

Let’s make the next 100 days BETTR—for all of us.

Title: From Naïveté to Realization: The Intentionality Behind Progressive Policies

There was a time when I believed that many Democratic policies, though misguided, were the result of ignorance or a lack of foresight. I thought perhaps they were simply turning a blind eye to the unintended consequences of their decisions. However, as we observe the current political landscape, it's becoming increasingly evident that these policies are not just ill-conceived—they are intentionally designed, with outcomes that are both alarming and detrimental to our society.

The Tragedy of Rachel Morin: A Case Ignored

Consider the heartbreaking case of Rachel Morin, a mother of five from Maryland. In 2023, Rachel was brutally raped and murdered by an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, a known MS-13 gang member. Despite the gravity of this crime, the mainstream media provided minimal coverage. Even more concerning, Senator Chris Van Hollen traveled to El Salvador to meet with the deported individual, while Rachel's grieving family received little acknowledgment from their elected officials.
meanwhile they prop up and fight to bring a MS13 gang member that courts and his wife deed extremely violent.

Mocking Disability: A New Low in Political Discourse

In another disturbing incident, Rep. Jasmine Crockett referred to Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who uses a wheelchair, as "Governor Hot Wheels" during a public event. While she later claimed the comment targeted his policies, the remark was widely perceived as mocking his disability. Such rhetoric not only disrespects individuals with disabilities but also degrades the quality of our political discourse.

Targeting Innovation: The Assault on Tesla

Tesla, once hailed as a pioneer in electric vehicle innovation, has become a target for vandalism and arson. In recent months, multiple Tesla dealerships across the country have been attacked, with vehicles set ablaze and properties defaced with hateful symbols. These acts coincide with Tesla CEO Elon Musk's collaboration with the White House's Department of Government Efficiency, suggesting a politically motivated backlash against progress and innovation. Meanwhile not one democrat calls for a stop to this illegal action.

A Pattern of Prioritizing Criminals Over Victims

These incidents are not isolated. They reflect a broader pattern where certain political figures and institutions appear to prioritize the rights of criminals over the safety and dignity of law-abiding citizens. Whether it's the leniency shown towards violent offenders or the silence surrounding victims of heinous crimes, the message is clear: the current trajectory of progressive policies is not only misguided but dangerously intentional.

The Decline in Quality of Life in Democrat-Run Territories

In recent years, several Democrat-led cities have experienced significant challenges affecting residents' quality of life:

Homelessness: As of January 2024, the United States saw a record high of 771,480 individuals experiencing homelessness, with urban areas in Democrat-led states like California contributing significantly to this surge.
    Houston Chronicle

Crime Rates: Between 2020 and 2024, Albuquerque, New Mexico, experienced a 20% increase in homicides, highlighting concerns over escalating crime rates in certain Democrat-led cities.
    Axios

Housing Affordability: Democrat-run cities such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York are among the least affordable for homebuyers, exacerbating economic disparities and housing crises.
    Fox Business

    A Call to Action

As a Republican and a concerned citizen, I urge all Americans to recognize these patterns and demand accountability. We must advocate for policies that prioritize public safety, respect for all individuals, and the rule of law. It's time to move beyond partisan politics and focus on the well-being of our communities.

  • BETTR Newswire | States Where Homelessness Has Skyrocketed 90%+ Since 2000 — And What They Have in Common

Homelessness isn’t just a big-city problem—it’s a systemic crisis. Since 2000, multiple U.S. states have seen homelessness increase by 90% or more, with some exceeding 200% growth. Despite varied geography, these states share common policy patterns—and failures.

States with Homelessness Increases Over 90% Since 2000:
    New York: +175%
Sheltered homelessness in NYC alone jumped from 22,955 in 2000 to over 63,000 in 2020. Major driver: lack of affordable housing, failed shelter expansion, and mass migration to cities like NYC.

    California: +110%
Homelessness has more than doubled since 2000, with over 180,000 now unsheltered. High taxes, housing shortages, and permissive street camping laws worsened the crisis.

    North Dakota: +200%
The oil boom brought a flood of workers and zero housing prep. Rents spiked, and towns became overwhelmed with newly homeless individuals unable to keep up with costs.

    Colorado: +145%
Legal marijuana, high cost of living, and unaffordable Denver housing triggered a massive increase. Tourism-fueled migration added pressure to shelters and services.

    Rhode Island: +120%
Affordable housing loss, state inaction, and service gaps led to a doubling of the homeless population, especially in Providence.

    Vermont: +100%
A small state with big shelter limitations. Rising rent, rural isolation, and a lack of detox and mental health programs fueled the surge.

    Illinois: +90%
Public housing failures, urban decline in Chicago, and collapsing middle-class jobs led to nearly doubling the homeless rate across the state.

What These States Have in Common:
    Democrat-Dominated Governance
Most are run by progressive policymakers who talk compassion but often block effective housing expansion and enforcement.

    Housing Supply Failure
Over-regulation, restrictive zoning, and anti-development politics have created a chokehold on affordable housing supply.

    Sanctuary Policies + Lax Enforcement
Cities welcome migrants but lack scalable services. Public drug use and tent cities are tolerated, worsening urban decay.

    Mental Health and Addiction Gaps
Many of these states closed or cut back inpatient care, detox centers, and long-term rehab—leaving vulnerable populations on the streets.

    BETTR Ideas for BETTR Results
Mandate state-level audits of all homeless spending

    Incentivize fast-build modular housing

Expand faith-based & community shelter networks

Empower localities to enforce public space use laws while increasing treatment access

Enough with the photo ops. It’s time for real results.
