Toronto Pearson Airport on Lockdown After Police-Involved Shooting
Chaos erupted this morning at Toronto Pearson International Airport when police fatally shot a man outside Terminal 1 Departures. Peel Regional Police say the man, reportedly in distress, was approached in his SUV—where he allegedly drew a firearm. Three officers opened fire. He later died at the hospital.
Terminal 1 was temporarily locked down.
Flights continued but with major delays and rerouted entry/exit.
