• JSA2026 Launches Regional Readiness & Strategic Growth Act

New York isn’t broken because we lack money. It’s broken because we waste it.
Jason S. Arnold’s new economic blueprint changes that—day one.

    What’s Broken:

Billions in NY economic development spending.
    Few results. No accountability.
Upstate is ignored. Urban centers are gentrified. Talent leaves. Bureaucrats cash in.

    What We’re Doing:

    1. Strategic Economic Planning & Audits
An independent unit will track every tax credit, kill ghost programs, and show real ROI—publicly.

    2. Workforce + Education Alignment
SUNY/CUNY will be required to partner with local employers or lose state job-training funds.

    3. Site Readiness Fund
$1B to get rural & upstate communities ready to compete for major investment—infrastructure, broadband, transit.

    4. Regional Equity Zones
25% of funding goes directly to historically neglected towns and neighborhoods. No more surface-level equity.

    5. ESD Overhaul
Empire State Development gets fully audited. Political contracts get cut. Grifters get gone.

    Inspired By What Works:
    • Massachusetts: Transparent job-growth metrics
    • Virginia: Employer-education pipelines
    • Kentucky: Shovel-ready site planning
    • Pennsylvania: Inclusive, region-based growth strategy

    Real Targets:
    • 25% more jobs per tax dollar invested
    • 100 shovel-ready sites across NY by 2028
    • Upstate/downstate economic gap shrinks 15% in 5 years
    • 50% of job-training funds lead to work in <12 months

    This Isn’t a Pilot. It’s a Plan.

New York can be a leader again.
    Not with slogans. With systems.
