MESSAGE ABOUT MY 2026 CAMPAIGN

I want to be clear about something: I am not ending my campaign for Governor of New York.

My name can still be written in, and I intend to finish what I started.

But I also have to be realistic.

I entered this race without a political machine, major donors, party backing, or statewide name recognition. We’ve worked hard to get the message out, but with November approaching, I understand the limits of what an independent write-in campaign can realistically accomplish without a major breakthrough in recognition.

That doesn’t mean these last two years were wasted. Far from it.

I’ve learned more about New York, its government, its communities, and our political system than I could have imagined when this started. I’ve met people I never would have met, challenged ideas I believed needed challenging, and put ideas into the conversation that I intend to keep fighting for long after Election Day.

I’m still running.

I’m still here.

And I’m not finished with New York politics.

What I am doing now is being realistic about where this race stands and thinking seriously about what comes next.

If you don’t write my name in and I’d be honored if you did even now, but if you must pick a candidate that’s on the ballot they can win, I endorse Bruce - Best of luck my friend.
