BOOK II — THE COMING
Chapter XII — Of What Rises
(The Veil Version — VV)
1. There was a day when hope appeared lost,
when what was believed to stand
had fallen before all.
2. Many turned away in that hour,
for they trusted only what could not fail.
3. Yet it was in that very moment
that the greatest work was being completed.
4. For what is broken in the sight of men
is not always finished in the sight of God.
5. The silence that followed
was not absence,
but preparation.
6. And what seemed like defeat
was not the end,
but the turning.
7. For life does not always return
as it was before,
but as something greater.
8. Those who endured the waiting
came to understand
that faith is not proven in ease,
but in uncertainty.
9. The stone that sealed what was lost
did not remain unmoved.
10. And what was thought to be gone
stood again—
not in weakness,
but in truth fulfilled.
11. So too in every age,
what appears to fall
is not always finished.
12. So it was written:
what is laid down in truth
will rise again—
and those who endure the darkness
will witness the light that follows.
